I have several projects running, including a digital project involving AX25 over IP and RF links. I set up a linBPQ node (NCPA:N3FUD-7) with BBS on 145.01 and 145.03 MHz 1200 baud packet. I am running a WinLink RMS server (N3FUD-10) on both ports.
The radios are Motorola CDM-1550 connected to the computer through RIM-MaxTrac USB soundcards.
The node is linked to other BBSs in Pennsylvania, Arizona, Connecticut, Maryland, New Jersey, Ohio, Texas, and Washington. The BBS forwards emails and bulletins to 48 of the 50 states in the United States, and into Europe.
I have portable packet radios set up to work from field locations as needed.
